Skrillex jumped on a bandwagon and destroyed a genera that so many people loved in the process. He took Dubstep and mass produced it for the laptop speaker generation. There is no Sub-bass in his music. He makes Bass music with no Bass. His live show is simply a pre mapped set. He recycles the same samples in song after song. He is not a DJ. He is not a live performer. He cannot solve simple technical problems while he is playing. All he is doing is exploiting people who don’t know any better. He gives them the feeling they are part of something truly underground and unique when in fact he is just as mainstream as your britneys and gaga’s. My only hope is that people who get into dubstep through old Sonny boy will someday discover what actual Dubstep is and sounds like. Hopefully they might then realize how terrible skrillex’s tracks actually. I am not having a go at bro-step just Skrillex because he is the worst offender of the if it doesn’t have 4,000 different sounds and a wobble wobble wub wub wobble than its not Dubstep generation.
